Why do we sin?

Everything traditional religion teaches, revolves around the word “sin” and therefore a Savior is needed.

Sin of 1/3rd of angels predates that of Adam. But, generally human’s sin is traced back at the garden of Eden where Adam and Eve sinned and were driven off paradise as a punishment. Why did they sin when they were created by an “Almighty God”, who never made mistake? Weren’t they created to follow? They were even clearly given the command and failure to do so, would lead to “eternal death” as in Genesis 2:7 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” .So, why didn’t they obey?

Human history is replete with evil people. And Genesis 6:5 highlighted the state of wantonness on earth, as in The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.

As to the person who sinned, everyone blamed him/her and rightly so. After all, action (mental or physical) has to be actuated by the person before anything happens; brain works through the physical body. But, the “blameless and upright Job” proved he did not sin at all, and that therefore Adam did not have to sin. Although, Job did not realize till the end that he still needed (Job 42:1-5) a “Savior” because Adam’s sin was “imputed on him”.

Even the “chosen Israelbroke the covenant made with God and was punished. Theologians look at sin as the reason why Jesus Christ had to spill his blood and die “to reconcile us to the Father”. Like Job on his own, man/anthropos-Jesus did not sin at all and died, although unlike Job, Jesus “came from above” and did not warrant imputed sin of Adam. Will there still be a need for Jesus’ death if humans did not sin?

Yet in spite of all the punishments God exacted on sinners, humanity continued to sin, why?The omnipotent God continued to show humanity, the consequences of sin. But somehow, sin continued, in spite of his admonitions and command, why? In fact, as Paul said in

Romans 5:13 that sin was already there even before the Law was given to Moses at Mt Sinai and that in Romans 5:20, the Law was given to account for and highlight more of these sins. And, by extension, the covenant that was there 430 years before cannot be annulled/set aside by the Law given to Moses at Mt Sinai.

Is God to blame for creating man’s capability to sin or is this an experience in human history to send us a clear message? Really, there are so many questions surrounding this subject of sin that we need answers.

Predicate of the Message

Yes, there is a message that revolves around the predicate of hope. On whom, for what and why?

Jeremiah 17:7But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence”(NLT). And this was looking forward to the day of incarnation of the Lord Creator, our hope.

Romans 8:20 Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope”. (NLT).

Galatians 3:13-14 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole. He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.”

Yes, humanity from creation was “subjected to a curse and this for us to look forward to the hope of the coming Savior, the man/anthropos-Christ Jesus; he is at the center of this hope. The prophesied Israel’s redemption has to come first, to open up to the Gentiles, the “blessing to AbrahamAnd Paul explained why it had to be this particular man in Romans 5:5-21.

And this curse/crucifixion (his death) was accounted for sins of all humanity. Because first-Adam sinned, so the second-Adam’s (Jesus’) death (penalty) was accounted for that sin, and by extension to “all mankind as in Romans 5:12-20. as in “one man sinned that accounted for the sins of all and one man died for that sin but accounted to many sins of all humans.

In due time, YHVH ELOHIM(Lord God) disempowered himself voluntarily and incarnated to human Jesus for him to die in the cross for the purpose of humanity’s reconciliation with the Father because of our sins. And, Jesus having been resurrected, we “will be saved through his life”. But, how so? But, first he had to be alive to receive this gift for us. And having been empowered through this Holy Spirit, then (us) the “clay that was marred” can now be re-molded as prophesied in Jeremiah 18:4

“But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.”

Remember, that Jesus said he had to die so that the “Comforter/Advocate/Holy Spirit” will be given to him after his resurrection, then was given first to the disciples and given to others generally at Pentecost, that same year and henceforth, to us.

Same Strategic Plan

Even if the first-Adam did not sin, the strategic plan for salvation is the same, as we are still mortals and our composition has to change. YHVH still had to incarnate and die, resurrected, receive the Holy Spirit for us. Although , no need for reconciliation without Adam’s sin; love is still present for planning man’s destiny before we were created. As a human, with limited life span, Jesus would still die; all humans die, even as old as Methuselah.

But, in the course of history, Adam/Eve sinned, thereupon instituted the “accounting of that sin” to the death of Jesus. This same strategic plan to change humans from mortal to immortal did not change, was planned by the Father and has to be executed by YHVH/JESUS. But, why?

Here now is the crux of this plan, an essential point that needed to be resolved. What is that?

Going back to “how man was created”. In Genesis 2:7 it says:

Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”

Notice that the body came from the ground and therefore earthy and temporal. Also, the whole body/matter that was created was not alive until the “breath of life was breathed-into him through his nostrils. This was the life-giving energy that was “infused into that body” to be alive…”a living soul/being”.

Creation of man was perfect and even angels rejoiced. But, from the time man was created, he was still “weak” in the sense of being temporal or mortal. He was “incomplete or not created fully”, as planned. While God’s presence was in the “mobile tabernacles and 2 Temples in Jerusalem, God will “not dwell in the temple/tabernacle made by hands” as in Acts 7:48-49

However, the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands. As the prophet says: ‘Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build for me? says the Lord. Or where will my resting place be?”

Instead, the prophecy was for the Father to dwell in the mind/spirit-of-man, in due time through the “empowering Holy Spirit”; this happened first to the “first of firstfruits/man-Jesus/wave-sheaf offering, then through his Son to the disciples, and henceforth to others as well, depending on their scheduled/planned time.

Moreover, this “weakness” was emphasized 3x by Jesus regarding his disciples in the garden of Gethsemane. It took him 3x for emphasis, seeing how his disciples who were determined to be “awake was still found sleeping”, for him to show how to follow voluntarily the “Father’s will”.

Message about Sin

While Job and Jesus on their own human power have shun evil, as humanity, in general, we are “weak” to overcome evil. But we will be empowered to have the requiredfruits of the Holy Spirit”, not “fruits of the flesh” nor “fruits that come from our nature” that the Father/God could not accept as shown by YHVH Elohim. We are “incomplete and temporal”. Indeed, man needs a “Helper/Advocate/Holy Spirit”…. and that is the message about the role of sin to humanity. This is the “power” that had to be given by the Father to Jesus for him to “re-create” humanity, an “ongoing creation”. And this “power” was given only if he died and was resurrected; not before, as planned.

Summary

Our loving Father planned and YHVH ELOHIM/(Lord God)Jesus Christ was tasked to execute the strategic plan voluntarily for humans to change from mortality to immortality. This plan did not change, whether man would sin or not. God foreknew Adam would sin as the “Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.” and commanded him not to. Temptation starts and we must guard against before it devolves into sin. Since Adam sinned, the process changed to accommodate that into the main goal and “imputed Adam’s sin to one man, Jesus”. While Adam was created perfect, he was “incomplete/weak vessel”, although with the ability to choose the path to righteousness, like Job. On his own, he could have done so, but that “righteousness would still be as filthy rags”. The type that the Father required has to emanate from “fruits of the Holy Spirit”. This principle of required righteousness that is “sweet savor”/ “sweet aroma”, was shown to “upright and blameless Job”, who also learned he needed a Savior because of “imputed sin. And, also learned by the man(anthropos) Jesus who came from above but still had to have “in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit” at River Jordan. Father-God decides what offering he likes and this principle was narrated regarding Abel and Cain.

Since Adam sinned, the death/curse/crucifixion of incarnated YHVH ELOHIM into “man-Jesus Christ” was then “accounted” for the sin of Adam and by extension to the sins of all humanity. The strategic plan stayed the same whether Adam sinned or not. It was the “accounting that was addedin the same way that the “covenant made 430 years before the Law given to Moses would not be annulled by that Law, even when that Law was “added to amplify the gravity of sin”.

Similarly, the “unwritten covenant between YHVH ELOHIM and the Ancient of Days” will not be annulled by the Law given to Moses. Israel’s redemption came to open up to the Gentiles, the “blessing to Abraham And Paul explained why it had to be this particular man in Romans 5:5-21.

The predicate of sin is for us to look forward to the “hope in Christ, the Redeemer/Savior”. There is a timetable for Christ to come and it came. He was the first human to receive this gift of in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit at river Jordan and from then on was empowered to overcome Satan and the first miracle of changing water to wine in the wedding in Cana. He died and was resurrected to receive the “empowering Spirit” for God to in-dwell to other humans, in the spirit-of-man”, the only component of man not “made by hands”. This “new power” will be used for “ongoing creation” and “create a new pot”.

The message that comes forth from sin is that the “perfectly created Adam was incomplete/weak”, mortal and has to be changed in the future to immortality. As Paul testified in I Corinthians 15:52-53

“In a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.”

God Bless🙏😊😇

Chinese virus, xenophobia and blame game

On use of “Chinese Virus”, xenophobia and “blame game”.

Recently, the social media are teeming with comments about POTUS45 calling SARS-CoV-2 as “Chinese-virus” and was criticized. This was apparently in response to Chinese Communist Party’s blaming the USA for this global pandemic. Others in the media also used the same name. Undoubtedly, it started in Wuhan, China, a province of Hubei and deductions as to whether “intentional or not”, maybe “right or wrong”. As practically everyone knows the origin of this plague and as a world-leader, should POTUS45 respond against this propaganda by wallowing in the same mud as the CCP? Nonetheless, does this response make our President xenophobic? Likewise, Guy Sorman, a well-known capitalist and globalist, supportive of Chinese people “called out Pres. Xi “ to be blamed for SARS-CoV-2”. Yet, does his opinion on Xi, make him xenophobic and should be curtailed? Will 1A right be squashed because of “evil people” who may use this pandemic as a justification for violence against Chinese-Americans? Will #blameChina or #blameXi be used as a “trigger for xenophobia expressed in violence”? Yet, this backlash against Chinese in NY subway train because of the virus and others unrelated violence against Asian-Americans are real in our time. While rhetoric cannot be blamed for “actions that cause physical harm”, in a similar vein, is this the time to blame “anyone” for this pandemic that may “stoke the flames of “fear and panic” in this uncertain times?

Indeed, in a time like we are all now facing, let everyone refrain from assigning blame and use the actual identity of this virus, SARS-CoV-2. Instead, let us work together against a common enemy, foster unity not division and put all our weight and innovative enterprise to put this menace behind us. And that, for the love of USA.

God bless 🙏😇

COVID-19, what is the message?

Why do we have this Wuhan-virus declared by WHO as a global pandemic? The Exodus experience on plagues and death of the firstborn happened. And, for that matter in history, why so many diseases and plagues did humanity suffer from? Progress has been made that “Some spoke openly of a future without infectious disease. “Will such a world exist?” asked one prominent scientist. “We believe so.” Certainly, while it took time, recovery followed and life went on. Only, to face recurring onslaught of other diseases through this 21st century, why?

Hallmarks of human history

Recurring examples and repetitions are hallmarks of human history. Likewise, the Bible often repeats itself to emphasize something and for us to recognise what is really important.

Deuteronomy 6:6-9 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou rises up.And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates. (Yes, repeat as a reminder)

Hebrews 3:13But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness”

Hebrews 3:7-9 Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,
on the day of testing in the wilderness, where your fathers put me to the test and saw my works for forty years”. (
Repeated also in Hebrews 3:15)

Psalm 95:8 Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the wilderness,

And “Today” twice in Hebrews 4:7God again set a certain day, calling it “Today.” This he did when a long time later he spoke through David, as in the passage already quoted: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”

Repetitions for what?

These are recurring reminders for us to “achieve the purpose for which I sent” as in getting the message, as Isaiah 55:11 says “so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it” Did you get it? What is the message ?

The Message

The recurring theme is well established that even man-Christ Jesus who was “overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death” had been shown 3 times over before he could “get it”. This was the narrative that night in the garden of Gethsemane:

Matthew 26:36-46Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter. “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”He went away a second time and prayed, “My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.”When he came back, he again found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy. So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing. Then he returned to the disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour has come, and the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners. Rise! Let us go! Here comes my betrayer!”

Here is the message: “The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” The disciples Peter and the two sons of Zebedee “were willing to stay awake and watch” but were so sleepy, tired and powerless to overcome the limits of their weak flesh”. This human weakness is clearly shown in interrogation techniques; everyone buckles. Going back to the message, despite their willingness to “stay awake and watch”, they were powerless, why? Yet, Jesus was empowered, but why only him at that time?

Remember that while they were all humans, the difference of Jesus to them (aside from many) was that he has in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit which was gifted to him by the Father at River Jordan; whereas they did not. Yet, even with this in-dwelling, Jesus’ will was not to go through with the plan for him to die a horrible death by crucifixion. He prayed so hard, pleading to the Father for him not to die, even sweating like “blood falling down the ground”.

Yet, he was not forced to decide but followed “willingly his Father’s will”. He was showing us how the in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit works; it guides, directs, show the right path; it does NOT FORCE it’s will down our throats. But, like any human, even Jesus (coming from above), had to receive this “empowerment” without which, he could NOT have overcome Satan, performed miracles, changed water to wine, nor follow the will of the Father on that crucial time in the garden of Gethsemane.

Summary

The “passover narrative in Exodus of saving Israel and death against the firstborn of Egypt” is true. But, it is more of sending a message of a “savior” to the firstborn/firstfruits than about “punishment against Egypt”. It is also about the message of human vulnerability; that “flesh-composed” mortal beings have to be changed into “spirit-composed immortal beings” in the future. We are all mortals and to be free from disease, suffering and eventual death, we need to be changed from mortal bodies to immortal spirit bodies. But, this comes through a process of salvation:

First the anthropos/man Jesus/wave-sheaf offering firstfruit, then the other firstfruits, before the “latterfruits” at their own time. While “vengeance is mine said the Lord God”, he is not a “vengeful God” as some portray him but a loving God from the beginning. Not every death is a “punishmentas there are consequences to what everyone does, though “allowed” to happen. Remember, “his ways are not my ways”, who can fathom his wisdom? Neither can anyone “assume” that the Holocaust was a “punishment against Jews

Much like any disaster, plague, or global pandemic, humanity will overcome and get over it, especially with current mass communication and technical abilities in diagnosis, treatment and prevention. Kudos to progress of humanity. Still, the prophecy that “man shall have rule/dominion over all” will not come to fruition until “empowered” by the in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit and salvation/ immortality comes.

That, while COVID-19 is no one’s fault, like many pandemics before, the message is about how “weak” our mortal bodies are and hence to look forward to our “destiny”. Recurrence in these events is constant reminder of the predicate that comes with the message, which is clearly that, while “the spirit-of-man is willing, the flesh is weak”. We need to be empowered with a “new power”, in-dwelling in the “spirit-of-man, in the “real you”. This new power(never given before), was given to Jesus after his resurrection to eternal life, for him to give it to us, first to his disciples then at Pentecost and onwards as the Advocate/Comforter/Helper , Jesus Christ himself in us, “writing the commandments in us” by in-dwelling and constantly guiding us thru this “sanctification process”.

Today, this National Day of Prayer announced by POTUS45, let us hope and pray to overcome this global pandemic as we remember our “weakness”. And the message is the need for us to have in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit, on a predetermined time and chance”. This will develop us and eventually change our “physical mortal body into spiritual/immortal bodies”, our attainment of future salvation.

Being “spirit-composed” beings, social-distancing, stay-at-Home, shelter-in-place, self-quarantine, contact identification, mitigation efforts, etc., will be a thing of the past.

God bless 🙏😊😇

This is the message of 2020 COVID-19, to see our mortality with a 20/20 vision. 🎉☀️. We were created flesh-composed and therefore “weak but not wicked”.

Does Earth need to be saved?

Jeff Bezos, the world’s richest guy, said;“We can save earth”. And, to do this, he launched a $10 Bezos Earth Fund kicking off his own effort to fight climate change, accordingly saving humanity. It goes without saying that his solution to prevent death of humans is to “save the earth” first; and that, with money. While there is nothing wrong with the whole world, in a personal way, to “clean up and not pollute our surroundings”, is this really the way to save mankind?

His solution is a stark distraction from where the focus of humanity should be in attaining salvation. And worse, this is entirely a reversal from what actual process is needed, not with money, for humans to be saved. According to Jesus, the true Savior, what was planned from the beginning and has already been in the “execution stage” from the time of creation, was a process of human salvation from eternal death. Yet, Jeff Bezos, “another false savior”, is focusing on earth’s survival due to “climate change/global warming” to prevent human extinction.

It then begs the question, does earth really need to be protected from CO2 emission, to save humanity? Although questionable, many scientists with 97% consensus, have predicted/prophesied that global inundation will happen leading to death of all living things. Accordingly, heat from earth will be trapped by CO2 concentration in the atmosphere and will cause increasing surface temperature on earth. Brush fires, forest fires and drought will follow. Ice polar caps will melt into water that will cover everything and life as we know it ends. Dr Mark Imisides is leery of this, as he calculated that it takes 6 septillion joules of energy to heat earth’s water up by 1 degree Centigrade.

This human “prophecy” is akin to a well-known and subscribed to by many, who believed in the hoax of a 1960’s best-seller book “Population Bomb by Paul Erlich. This was based on Malthusian theory which predicted death to mankind unless population is controlled. Consequences of this teaching can be understood by how China and India acted on this theory and suffered. Now, in this era of $T companies, climate-change is the “modern Paul Revere”, warning of global catastrophe.

When will humans learn that they don’t know what the future holds? Only the Creator-God (YHVH-Elohim) knows what the “destiny of man is. And that no one, even Jeff Bezos with his $B, needs to “save earth” to save mankind. Global inundation already happened in Noah’s time and God promised with a “sign of a rainbow that there will be no second time that the earth will be covered by global flood.

How then can humanity be saved from “eternal death”? And that, not by “saving earth” first. Unbeknownst to many, the plan has been in execution from the beginning of time. The plan was a “direct salvation of man”, in contrast to climate-change believers who preferred to “save earth”, thus indirectly saving humanity.

God’s plan is a process, based on love, that entails a progressive realization and completion of events planned way back to creation. These steps have been revealed through the Bible, as follows:

1. Creation of the universe and humans as described in Genesis by YHVH-Elohim(Lord God), Jesus-Christ, the creator of the invisible and visible.

2. Experiential developments that leave an incontrovertible and recurring message of human inadequacy. Humans are “incomplete and weak by themselves” to attain eternal life on their own. Human experience has catalogued the ups and downs throughout history. Even Genesis Adam-Eve, King Nimrod, Cain-Abel, Noah family, Abraham-Lot, Ishmael-Isaac, Jacob-sons,“chosen Israel”, King Saul, David, Solomon, Job and all the way down there genealogies were found to be wanting; until Jesus Christ came into being. who himself declared truly that the “flesh is weak. Human kingdoms come and go by the wayside as shown by successive powers in King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and could not establish an “eternal kingdom”, until the Son of God (Jesus Christ) returned to earth to establish it.

3. Incarnation of Creator-God (YHVH-Elohim) into a human Jesus for:

A. In-dwelling of the Holy Spirit which only the Father can give as a “gift” to “ man/anthropos-Jesus. Like Job who did not sin on his own, Jesus’ “own righteousness” was still “as filthy rags, not worthy as a “sweet savor to the Father. But, unlike Job who came “from the ground” (earthy), needed a savior and who also was called “upright , blameless and perfect in his eyes” by God on his own doing, Jesus (by contrast) did not need a “savior” from Adam’s sin as Jesus “came from above as incarnated YHVH-Elohim and therefore “heavenly”. Yet, being human and without miraculous powers, Jesus also needed to have this Holy Spirit of power. As the first human to receive the in-dwelling of the “Holy Spirit” at River Jordan, he was the first of the firstfruits”, the trailblazer”, the “pioneer/captain of our salvation” to be empowered by this “added-on power” (Advocate/Comforter) to overcome Satan and do miracles, with the first being the water-into-wine at the wedding in Cana. Even with this “in-dwelling”, he maintained free-will to choose the “will of his Father” over “his own will” as described in his last night at the garden of Gethsemane. With the “in-dwelling power of the the Holy Spirit” gifted to him by the Father, he followed the “will of the Father” in all respect throughout his earthly life and became one” with him all the way through death by crucifixion.

B. Death of the Passover to reconcile humanity to the Father. Jesus is the “passover lamb” whose death was taken as “atonement of sins of humanity” thereby reconciling us to the Father. As Paul said, Adam sinned and all humans died by imputation; as Jesus (the second Adam) died by crucifixion and this was also acknowledged by the Father and imputed as due consequence of humanity’s past sins, thus debts paid for.

4. He was then resurrected, as a “reward” for what he did, by the Father as promised, and became the “sweet savor”(the wave-sheaf offering) for the whole humanity. It takes a “live person” to receive what was promised. As such, the Father gave him the “gift” of the Comforter/Holy Spirit to then be gifted back to others starting at Pentecost. As the Bible said, we shall be saved through his life”, i.e., he had to be resurrected to life, for us to live through receiving this Holy Spirit of power.

5. The Christ (Savior) is then empowered through the Holy Spirit to in-dwell in the “spirit-of-man”, (the real you) to then guide, develop, nurture humans to be “one” with him and the Father. And this is an “ongoing creation” by the same Creator-God, the YHVH-Elohim who incarnated into Jesus, the Christ working in us individually and directly for our salvation.

Summary:

Salvation of humanity is directly through humans, not save earth first, by the power of the “Holy Spirit in-dwelling” in the “spirit-of-man”(the breath of life). This Holy Spirit of power was first given to the “trailblazer, pioneer,Captain of our salvation”, the “man-Christ Jesus”, to be the “first of firstfruits”. He then followed the guidance and will of the Father with this in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit, all the way through Gethsemane and Calvary. After his death that reconciled man to the Father, the only “sweet savor/aroma to the Father, he was then resurrected as promised, to receive the Comforter/Holy Spirit to be given to other humans starting at Pentecost. With this new power which Jesus never had before, he can then “dwell in the temple not made by hands”( that breath of life in us/ the spirit-of-man) to make us “one” with the Father, as Jesus is “one” with him with the goal of all being “one” in this “kingdom of God”.

God bless🙏😇
